Geography
The intent of our Geography curriculum is to inspire curiosity and fascination about the world and its people, fostering a lifelong interest in diverse places, cultures, and environments. We aim to equip students with a deep understanding of both physical and human geographical processes, helping them to make sense of the complex and ever-changing world around them. Through engaging and challenging lessons, we develop students’ ability to think critically, use geographical enquiry skills, interpret a wide range of sources, and appreciate the interconnectedness of global issues such as climate change, sustainability, and urbanisation. Field trips are a vital part of our geography curriculum, bringing classroom learning to life by immersing students in real-world landscapes and cultures that deepen their understanding of spatial relationships and human-environment interaction. Our curriculum encourages active, responsible global citizenship and prepares students to think meaningfully about the world beyond the classroom and contribute effectively to its success.
