Patient and steady with all they must bear,
Ready to meet every challenge with care,
Easy in manner, yet solid as steel,
Strong in their faith, refreshingly real,
Are not afraid to propose what is bold,
Does not conform to the usual mold,
Eyes that have foresight, for hindsight won’t do,
Never backs down when they see what is true,
Tells it all straight, and means it all too.

Going forward and knowing they're right,
Even when doubted for why they would fight,
Over and over they make their case clear
Reaching to touch the ones who won’t hear.
Growing in strength, they won’t be unnerved,
Ever assuring they’ll stand by their word.

Our governors are trusted and worthy of trust,
